September Fitness Tips....

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States. Anyone can be affected, including children. Heart disease occurs as a result of the build-up of a substance called plaque in the arteries. Overtime this can cause atherosclerosis, a disease in which the arteries narrow and harden resulting in a reduction of blood flow to the heart. Below is a calendar of activities that can help get you moving when at home or on the go.

Parents each month we will post a monthly calendar related to fitness tips and ideas.  We challenge you to print it each month, post it on your refrigerator, and complete each daily activity together as a family.  Together lets model eating healthy foods and being active even if it's just a walk around the block.
